I support the purchase of the Tower Theatre by the City of Fresno, to end Adventure Church’s harassment of the inhabitants and businesses in the Tower District, to preserve the historical and cultural integrity of the building, and the greater Tower District.

I support the City of Fresno purchasing this historic, architectural, and cultural landmark, ensuring that the community has a say in how its maintained and who is welcome. The church currently operating in the theater and trying to purchase the property is full of hate for the community it purports to serve and believes the neighborhood is “perverted” — a direct quote from a self-identified church member’s comment in this forum.

Why does the city get to use tax dollars to buy a piece of property that's 150% over appraisal? Why does the tax payers dollars have to pay for an open checkbook for the current property's owners lawyer fees (past and present)?

A historical landmark in the city of Fresno should be treated as such. The Adventure Church has access to a variety of buildings to practice at, but there is only one Tower Theater. I support Tower Theatre finally becoming a part of the city we know and love!

Adventure Church is supported by racists like the Proud Boys and has been a nuisance to the community. Please don’t let them destroy the community. Purchase the property and send them back to wherever they came from.

I oppose the city on interfering with the sale of the tower theater to Adventure Church. Adventure church has done nothing but pour into the Fresno community , it’s members and the theater itself .

I do not support the city’s misuse of power and money to interfere with Adventure purchasing the Tower Theatre. My tax dollars are better spent elsewhere, such as our Children’s education, improvement in low poverty homelessness.

I strongly support the city buying Tower Theatre. A historical landmark in our city should be treated as such. Preservation and restoration of our Tower and downtown communities have proven successful, profitable, and promoting pride in Fresno!

I Strongly Oppose The City Interfering With Our Church buying the Tower. We're already in Escrow. It's Just Bullying of a church by A Big City to Appease A Few or for a Land Grab for Parking Spaces. The City is corrupt everything they run is in ruin and they're already embroiled in a Lawsuit with Granite Park. Why not do your job and do something about people dropping dead from. Fentanyl overdoses. The homeless and the trash left everywhere. Rising murder rate, the dark streets in the less Northern part of the city. What God Wants he'll get and A Church like Adventure is needed in the midst of a poor crime infested, homeless populated, Perverted spot of Fresno. Leave our Church Lone. We've done nothing wrong. God will not be bullied

I support the city purchasing tower theatre. Adventure church is harmful, hateful, and does not belong in the historic tower district community.

I support the city purchasing Tower Theatre and putting an end to this embarrassing chapter in our city's history. Persevere the landmark, keep it out of hateful hands, and help Tower return to the fun, loving, and inclusive district it should be.
