My tax dollars are being wasted by city council members who only want power and money. Making false promises and accusations. Wolves in sheep clothing. I support Adventure Church in their purchase of the Tower Theatre. God’s Glory.

I oppose the city from interfering with the sale of the Tower Theatre. Adventure Church has been and will continue to be such a great asset to the community. It’s such a shame that our children have to witness these protesters every Sunday.

As a long-time resident of the Tower District, someone who has worked as a sound engineer for many shows over the years at the Tower Theater, and as someone who graduated high school at the Tower Theater, I firmly support the City of Fresno acquiring the Tower Theater in pursuit of preserving the iconic historic theater as the center of culture and the performing arts in the San Joaquin Valley. I urge each member of the council to approve this acquisition.

The City of Fresno buying the Tower Theater benefits all the residents. The “church” has been in the neighborhood for 10 years and has done nothing to serve the people, only themselves and bring hate and judgement against my neighbors. The Tower Theater brings much needed revenue to the neighborhood and Fresno. Thank you City of Fresno for doing the right thing for ALL.

I support the City of Fresno purchasing the Tower Theatre. I am also in support of them enforcing the zoning laws. There are plenty of other places for Adventure church to go. They don’t need to use an historic landmark.

The Tower Theater is a historic landmark for Fresno and needs to be treated as such!

My family and I oppose the City of Fresno buying the Tower Theater. We believe Adventure Church is bringing light and truth into this community, I can only say this from the personal impact Adventure Church has had in our lives as a family in this community. Although we are harnessed every Sunday from people that don’t know us, Adventure continues to love the people, invites everyone.
And says, Come as you are! My family has always been excepted and loved!! Thank you Adventure Church, Pastor Anthony and Mandy, we stand beside you, and love you both very much, and all Pastoral Staff!! God always wins!!

It is my hope that the city will be a better steward of the Tower Theatre and of it’s own zoning laws than Mr. Abbate. Our neighborhood is special in many ways, among them having restaurants, bars, and art venues that one can walk to. I value being able to leave my car behind while spending a day or evening with friends, going from one place to another. Please help us keep the Tower District special in this way, not the victim of zoning changes made in fear of lawsuits from tenants who should not have been allowed to assemble as they have.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

This should be a no brainer for the City of Fresno. Any vote against the City’s purchase of this landmark is the City Council admitting that they will no longer enforce zoning law through out the rest of the city or county. While there is nothing wrong with allowing another church in this City. Allowing a church to flaunt that they are not held to the laws of this City is a disgrace to every tax paying citizen.

In FULL SUPPORT of the City of Fresno‘s purchase of the Tower Theater - to preserve the historical landmark, maintain the only Arts district in our area, and ensure it is available for the use of all citizens.

The city has no right in purchasing a building that is already in escrow. The theater has been running just fine without the city’s involvement.
