Since we have so many people either that don’t bother to have their cat spayed or neutered we have an explosion of cats. The TNR organization has made it possible to get your cat neutered or spayed at a very affordable price. But they need help. If we truly care to make an effective difference for animals and those who care for them, we will fund the prevention solution of spay/neuter. We know wherehousing animals doesn't work and leaving them unaltered on the streets explodes the population and the suffering. Please fund spay/neuter with sn amount that can start to make a difference. I have worked in Animal Control in this community beginning in 2003 and I'm still in Animal Welfare and I've never seen the situation for animals at this dire of a level. please consider funding for spay and neuter , there is a already a huge overpopulation and funding will allow more people to be able to safely trap spay/neuter and return animals to their place of belonging. This is also beneficial to shelters since there isn’t much space or resources for the animals that are already in the care of a shelter due to the high overpopulation. All in all, funding will help minimize the population.
