Re: La-Kibbia Wilson v. City of Fresno

I am pleading for justice. A jury has already spoken and ruled in favor of the Ms. Wilson. That decision must be respected. The harm has been proven, and the compensation is owed. I am calling on this council to act with integrity, honor the verdict, and grant Ms. Wilson what is awarded to her without delay. Justice delayed is Justice denied.

    Thank you in advance

I support not appealing the decision of the jury for Case Name: La-Kebbia Wilson v. City of Fresno.

There’s been 7+ years of Mrs. Wilson and Family enduring the cities back and forth with this case. The jury has decided and to continue on would show even further how much the city is stuck in a place we thought we were far away from.

Given the extreme emotional abuse to which Mrs. Wilson was subjected, continuing to inflict emotional harm to her via an appeal is un-warranted. She has proven her case.

I fully support the City closing this case out by fulfilling the jury deciding judgement to Mrs. Wilson. Your money should now be spent to conduct an internal investigation into who all screwed the pooch that allowed and caused this racist conduct to occur. The Citizens of Fresno should have been taken into consideration long ago when you became aware of this lawsuit and not now that you lost the judgement. Use reserve funds or eliminate non-essential programs or people involved with her racist treatment. Make Fresno Great for Once.
