Much has been made about equity in South Fresno. Looking at the numbers by council district it could be argued that South Fresno is in fact receiving more than its fair share.
It’s my understanding that, while the commission dithers, some arts groups are folding their tents because of the delay. Other organizations, e.g. the historical society, have had to indefinitely delay projects because of the commission’s action.
I support the allocations made in May.
