There is no comment box for the next agenda item -traffic signal at Bullard/Grantland, so I’m placing my comment in support here.
Cars speed on Grantland in excess of 55mph from Shaw to Herndon Barstow School. There are only sidewalks on one side of the street, it is my hope that the traffic signal will slow traffic earlier as they approach the school zone. It will also make it easier I hope to make left turns out of the neighborhoods at Roberts. Thank you.

Is there sufficient funding to complete the underpass at Herndon and Golden State? Is there sufficient funding to complete the overpass at Shaw and Golden State? The traffic congestion in Forgotten Fresno is highly frustrating for our community. Veteran's Boulevard is still not completely funded and that started in 1984. High Speed Rail is astronomically over budget and I fear that north of Shaw projects will not be completed. Ashlan, Clinton, and Tuolomne have nice overpasses to get over Highway 99. Herndon and Shaw Avenues still bottleneck because the infrastructure has been neglected. Is it going to be overlooked again? I will try to send video and pictures of traffic examples.

Please vote in favor of installing a traffic signal at Bullard & Grantland. Traffic flow through this area tends to be faster than posted speed limit. Traffic flow through school zone of Herndon-Barstow Elementary is consistently fast and sometimes worse when people are trying to cross Grantland in designated school crosswalk. A traffic light at Bullard & Grantland would help slow the flow through the school zone.
