11.-B. ID 26-91 Hearing - Receive public input on allocations related to Measure P, updates to the Parks Master Plan and Cultural Arts Plan, and annual PARCS Department Budget and Capital Improvement Plans.
I would like to see the approved plan include specific priorities for Southeast Fresno, like park improvements (we’ve been waiting forever on the pocket park on Tulare by Cedar), recreational programming (swim lessons in the summer are always full!), and cultural arts opportunities (maybe with more community connections and communications - I often don’t hear about these until after they’ve happened) . I barely heard about the proposed Gymnasium at the Southeast Fresno Sports Complex…I hope there is funding for this or more time til a decision is made so community members can get this info! I barely heard about this today 1/24/26 from a neighborhood leader. How is this committee seeking to engage with the public?
