I comment here just to add support to the City government taking actions that will increase affordable housing in Fresno. There are nearly two generations of people in Fresno who are struggling to get by because rent is too high and home ownership too expensive. I am grateful that the council is moving forward with what seems to be a bureaucratic formality that will ultimately result in more affordable housing. For what it's worth, I also support affordable housing in my immediate neighborhood, which is near Fresno State. We all benefit from affordable housing!
